Mickelin is the principal of Mickelin Burnes-Browne Real Estate, a full-service brokerage serving the south San Francisco Bay area of San Jose, and Milpitas and Fremont, CA.
Mickelin received her real estate license in February,1997, and started her career full time the fall of 1998 with Century 21 El Camino, Santa Clara, then the brokerage moved to Sunnyvale in 2002. While there she was a buyer’s agent, then Seller agent; and broker/agent of the Month by Broker/Agent magazine.
Mickelin obtained her broker’s license in 2005 and left Century 21 El Camino to start her own brokerage July 2009 and continued as an independent REO broker representing banks in listing and selling their non-performing assets. This niche market continued until second quarter of 2013 as the market was in recovery from the crash of 2008. After seeing so much devastation, Mickelin started a non-profit, HANDS, Housing Arts N Development Services in partnership with other non-profits to begin educating the consumer in financial literacy.
Mickelin has a certification in Probate sells. As a Certified Real Estate Probate Specialist, she represents administrators in the disposition of the real estate. Mickelin works this niche along with the senior market as this is a growing market as seniors are living longer, and she has a passion for helping seniors live well and protect their assets with sound financial planning and establishing trust accounts to build generational wealth with real estate a core asset.
